How do I file a warranty claim for Inspire 3?

I am within the 1 year warranty since the date of purchase and i cannot for the life of me find a way to file a request to have my broken Fitbit exchanged online.
The online instructions say that before i can file a claim i need to get a “return authorization” but when i fill out the return authorization it says that because it has been more than 45 days since the date of purchase that i don’t qualify for the return… but even though i am NOT trying to get a return but rather to get it repaired or exchanged, this is the first step…

I am stuck. That’s why i’ve been avoiding doing this because it feel like i will be going down a rabbit hole of terrible customer service and end up purchasing an apple watch instead.

Hi, @fitgabi , have a peek at “Returns & Warranty”.  There’s a link at the bottom of every page when you are logged in here to the Community Forums.  Alternatively, if that does not give you the information you need, information on all the ways of getting in touch with Fitbit Customer Support are at Contact.fitbit.com .  Be aware that before authorising a warranty claim they will want to talk you through troubleshooting the problem with your Fitbit and it may help to confirm that you have tried the basic steps by posting here.

If you think the Community might be able to help with your issue, either with getting it sorted out or confirming that this is something only support can help with, please do free to post your questions here.
