I am looking for the Model Number of my Fitbit. I don't know where to find it on my dashboard? I understand from reading posts that the serial number is only available on the box, which I've destroyed. I need help identifying my unit. Thanks.

Hi, @PFuller69, welcome to the community. Have a look at the photos after touching the hamburger icon in the top left of this screen, you may be able to pick it out. Another way forward will be to charge the device and open your phone settings>connected devices>pair a new device> and look to see what it throws up. You should make sure no other Fitbit device is within 30 feet of your phone to avoid interference from another device. Have a look at the charging cable, some have the name of the device on the USB plug. As this is your first post you will not be able to post a photo but if you can take a photo, place it somewhere like "Photobucket" & post the link it would help. Does it have a colour screen? what shape is it?
If you need the serial number that might not be available in the device settings.
Let us know how you get on.
Cheers

@PFuller69 Fitbit model numbers use a model number with a four letter color code. All Inspire 3 models are FB424.
I don't know why the serial number is in code on the web dashboard. But I can tell you how to find it and decode it.
