How do I stop my Inspire 3 from tracking steps while swimming?

How can I stop my fitbit counting my swimming stroke as steps. I did a 1600m swim this morning and it counted it as 9756 steps, so now my fitbit thinks I've reached my step target but thats not the case.

Hi, @Sally64, welcome to the community. You may find this article of interest How to add, edit, or delete Fitbit data & activities - Android - Fitbit Help Center . If the three dots are replaced with a slider icon, Return to the Today screen, touch the icon in the top left>Health Connect On Today>Showdatafrom Fitbit only.
