Inspire 3 Irregular Heart Rhythm notifications just gray out after "I Agree"

Hello, I've been trying to set up irregular heart rhythm notifications on my new Inspire 3, with the app on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 tablet. But when I get to the page where it says "I Agree," it's just gray and nothing happens when I press on it. I've tried rebooting, uninstalling and installing again, but nothing worked. Any thoughts?

Hi, @TonyNY, welcome, you need to swipe up on the screen to the bottom at which point the "I agree" tile turns green & works. I think this is a mechanism that assures Fitbit you have seen the warnings (even if you did not read them) I assume you were able to satisfy the age limitations etc on the previous screen.

Thank you for the suggestion, @Gr4ndp4  but the screen won't move when I swipe up or down. It says "Scroll to continue", but it won't scroll. I am old enough and haven't been diagnosed with afib so I don't understand why that page won't respond.

Hi, @TonyNY, thanks for the feedback, I'm not familiar with "Galaxy Tab A7" but it seems to me your issue relates to the "view" you have on your display. May I suggest you explore the alternatives available to you on your Tab A7 for viewing the page in question? Your problem is not something I've seen before.

A further thought, if you are not able to resolve your problem via the "view" settings try deleting the Fitbit app & reloading it. Before you take this step make sure you sync the app.

I hope this helps.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers

Hi everyone.

Thanks for sharing this information with us. Sorry about the issues with irregular rhythm notifications with your Inspire 3.

Please keep this in mind, the Fitbit app requires iOS 15.5 or higher or Android 12 or higher. For additional information on device compatibility with the Fitbit app, see fitbit.com/global/us/technology/compatible-devices.

Note that the Fitbit Irregular Rhythm Notifications is only available in select locations at this time. Additional devices & countries will be added as regulatory clearance is obtained. See fitbit.com/irregular-rhythm for additional details.

Additionally, please give a try to the following:

  1. Forget your Inspire 3 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Log out from your account and force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Restart your Fitbit a couple of times.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  6. From the Discover tab, tap Assessments & Reports > tap the Irregular Rhythm Notifications tile.
  7. Tap Set Up Now, and follow the on-screen instructions.

If this doesn't work, please provide the model of phone you're using to sync your Inspire 3.

I wonder if anyone in this thread has had any success with this solution.  I get stopped at #1: Forget your Inspire 3 from the Bluetooth settings.  My iphone SE will not allow me to "forget".

Another thread here states: "At this time you cannot turn the Bluetooth of the Inspire 3 off."

Am I missing something??  I have just spent an hour or more trying to work around to get the irregular rhythm set up with no luck.  So fed up.

I haven't had time to try this yet, but I googled a video about forgetting your Fitbit and this came up. I don't know if it will work since I haven't tried it yet myself, but here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQuSi86M6lw

I just tried all those steps, and it's still not allowing me to set up the irregular heart rhythm notifications. I got to the  "I Agree" page as before, but can't click on it or the "Scroll down to continue" option. In fact, after offering to set up the notifications during Set up,the tile for Irregular Heart Rhythm notifications is no longer under Discover. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 tablet running Android 12.

I am also having the same issue. This happened when I tried to set up my Charge 4 last year and now the same for my Charge 5. Also using a Samsung Tab A7.
