I recently upgraded my Inspire 2 to Inspire 3 after it RIP'd from years of problems pairing.
Every pairing gives different MAC addresses. It is easy to impersonate a bluetooth device using different MAC addresses as my neighbours are using it to try to hack into my network.
Does your Inspire Series have a fixed MAC address? If so, how can I find it? The MAC address on the packaging isn't the same when pairing.

Here are examples of different MAC addresses for the same Inspire 3 device.

I have found the cause of the syncing problems that every user is having.
As an IT engineer who deals with Internet Security, Fitbit devices (via their updates) is using MAC Randomisation on their devices. This causes connection loss and the risk of hackers impersonating your Inspire 3 device with different MAC addresses (MAC Spoofing). Attached are different MAC addresses for Inspire 3 detected by my Bluetooth firewall.
Every electronic device has a MAC address for connecting to other devices and the internet. It is like a car registration number plate assigned to each car. MAC randomisation is the changing of MAC address instead of using the assigned MAC address on the packaging for your Inspire 3 to prevent being detected. This is the same as changing your car registration number illegally to prevent being detected.
Until Fitbit removes this feature with an update, users will continue to experience syncing problems and be exposed to 'MAC Spoofing' by hackers as shown in my previous shared screenshot.

No Worries.
The apps I use to identify the bluetooth MAC addresses are:
Bluetooth Firewall - Fruitmobile (one-time purchase)
UFind - DreamTeam Mobile (currently yearly but I'll soon upgrade to lifetime)

UFind - DreamTeam Mobile
UFind Pro Prices
