I have a Fitbit 3..We got it 8 months ago for my girlfriend. She used it a few months but stopped wearing it this winter. It worked reasonably for her. We switched it over to me last week, but the battery is absolute garbage. With a full charge it lasts less than 1 day... actually only 12 hours or so. I have adjusted all the suggested settings and it hasn't really helped at all. If I have to take it off to charge for 3 hours a day, or if I can't wear it to track sleep at night, then it is almost useless.

@Spike0311 That is very strange. If it is only 8 months old, I would see if you can reach out to Fitbit Customer Support and see if they can send you a new one. A battery shouldn't be failing after only 8 months.

Same here. The battery charges fully but, just this week, is discharging very rapidly. It won't hold a charge.

Sounds like the battery is toast and it's time to call the CS team to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, so it can be returned for a replacement under the Factory 1-year warranty.
