Hello Everyone,
I am not sure if anyone has found a solution to this problem, but fingers crossed. I have had my inspire 3 for only 4 months. No problems thus far (as one would expect). Yesterday, when I went to check it, the screen went black out of nowhere and has not become visible since then.
I had unplugged it from the charger that morning, so it was on 100%. Nevertheless, I plugged it in and charged it for a couple of hours after just in case the battery drained within a few hours, which had never happened before. Still nothing changed.
I attempted to restart the device using the Fitbit instructions. It was plugged into the charger and I held onto the sides for 10 seconds. It always vibrates in response at the start and after the 10 seconds but nothing comes on the screen. I have attempted several different methods of restarting; off the charger, on the charger, for 10 seconds, for 30 seconds. It definitely has charge and I even charged overnight just in case.
It is syncing just fine. Its last sync to the app was 5 minutes ago, but the screen will not display anything. I have even tried going to change the clock face in the app on my phone, but nothing changes. The watch screen is only black and does nothing.
Literally any assistance please. Cannot seem to connect with anyone from Fitbit support to assist. Thank you.

It's dead but still under warranty. Returns are a nightmare. Chat with a rep and you'll have to jump through all of the hoops you've already done. Then you can go through the agony of trying to return it through FedEx.
I'm strongly considering switching to a Garmin.
Has anyone else noticed that when Google took over everything went downhill?

If the Inspire 3 device immediately synced to the app and worked properly after putting the device into the charging cradle and pressing/holding the two side buttons for at least 10 seconds, then the device didn't complete a Factory Reset.
If the device was properly Factory Reset, the Bluetooth pairing information on the device would have been lost, which would then require setting up the device again using the app to get it working again.

I'm having the exact same issue and it just started. I have tried plugging the device in and holding the sides for 3 to 10 seconds. I can feel it vibrate when I do so, however it is not working. I am also trying to change the watch face however whenever I tap the gallery, I get a No Internet Connection message. I have an Internet connection right now. I've also disabled the VPN and still cannot get into the gallery. I can see the device is charging via the mobile app. I'm using my device at this moment to send this message (Google Pixel 8).
What happened? Was there an app update or something?

Now when I hold the sides of the tracker for 10+ seconds, nothing at all happens. It used to vibrate after you held the sides for 10+ seconds. Presumably restarting the tracker. It's basically a brick.

Ok. I understand. However if the factory method for resetting isn’t working is there any alternative?

Just to add... mine did the same thing at the end of May... nothing. This is my 2nd one... this one was sent to me after the first (which is still working) got bubbles in the screen. They replaced it with this one last sumemr and this one is doing everything you all have said black, but vibrates....but nothing!!! I contacted fitbit...said not under warranty, so they gave me a % off a new one. Now I am trying to decide what to get!!! UGH!!!
