Inspire 3 notifications won't come back

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

All notifications on my Inspire 3 have suddenly stopped working. I have followed all troubleshooting guides, and I just can't get them to return. I have done all of the following, in multiple different orders:

- Forgotten Fitbit from Bluetooth settings

- Rebooted Fitbit

- Restarted iPhone

- Checked for updates

- Checked 'system notifications' are on - turned off, rebooted device, restarted iPhone, sync'd, turned back on

- Turned all notifications off, logged out of Fitbit app, rebooted device, logged back in, turned all back on, sync'd

...nothing in any of the troubleshooting will seemingly get them back working. Is there something I am missing?

Hi, @crackerman welcome to the community, may I suggest you check that "Mirror my Phone" notifications is turned off. Go to each category set which messages, calendar, Email, and app notifications are selected and the individual sliders (including calls) are in the on position Touch the three dots in the top right>send test call notification.

I hope this helps, please let us know how you get on.

Cheers

Thank you so much for the reply. I am unable to locate the "Mirror my Phone" notification option, and also the Send Test Call Notification option - please could you point me in the right direction?

Hi, @crackerman Thanks for the update, on the "Today" screen of the Fitbit app on your phone touch the top left icon (%)>Inspire 3>Notifications>

Hi - I am having this same issue, I have a new inspire 3. I don’t have any of those options in my Fitbit app that you have: how can I get those?

I also didn’t have those options. The solution for me was that the Fitbit itself had gone onto Do Not Disturb mode - sometimes those settings get activated unintentionally for me if water / the shower presses the touch screen!

I found it really helpful calling Fitbit support as they can remotely see what settings your device has, so were able to diagnose that for me very quickly!

Welcome to the forums @crackerman @Kme889

Thank you for providing the details regarding notifications and for trying to fix it on your own. Thank you @Kme889 for sharing the screenshot.

I'd recommend trying the following steps in the order listed:

  1. Restart your device. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Open the Fitbit app to sync your Fitbit device.
  3. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon > your device.
  4. Tap Notifications, then turn off all notifications.
  5. Restart your phone.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and turn notifications back on, then sync your Fitbit device.

Set up notifications again

  1. Tell your phone to "forget" the bluetooth connection to your Fitbit device:
    1. On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth.
    2. Tap the information icon or gear icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
    3. Find the option to forget the device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again, then sync your Fitbit device.

Thanks for helping @Gr4ndp4
