Inspire 3 deleting swim data

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’m a swimmer and Inspire 3 has been spotty about tracking laps. Recently it logged my swims as rowing. And when I have tried to manually enter a workout it logs the data but then automatically deletes it. This is very frustrating- any tips are appreciated!

Hi @JGoodwin2    I can help you with the swimming as rowing issue.  A firmware update added a feature that will open and start the Exercise app for six shortcuts: walk, run, bike, elliptical, rowing, and spinning.  To turn it off, swipe left/right on your screen and open the Exercise app.  Look for and select the rowing shortcut.  Swipe up on the "^" at the bottom of the screen.  Look for Auto-start and toggle it off.  You might want to turn it off for Walk, too.  Some users say it will turn on for brief walks when they aren't exercising.

I can't help you with the laps issue, because I don't use that model.  I might be able to help with manual logging if you share more details.
