Inspire 3 screen blackout

Hello,

I have noticed that there are many reported cases of Fitbit screen becoming unresponsive / blackout.

I have tried the two troubleshooting options available, i.e.: restarting and changing clock face. But all to no avail.

I have contacted the live chat customer service and they also suggested the same two solutions. But once they wont work, the customer service just gave up and basically told me to throw away my Fitbit because there is nothing they can do anymore.

I am abit shocked by this. Is there anyone here having the same experience? I am wondering what did you do when your Fitbit's screen also became unresponsive? What happened next? Is there really not a single service center of some sort provided to fix the problem?

Hi, @JohnsonID It's a pity you are having this experience. Customer Support's focus will be on Fitbit's returns & warranty policy and depend on who you bought it from (must be an authorised agent) When (must be within the time limit) and where you are (this dictates the time limit). If you bought an extended warranty this will include accidental damage otherwise it's excluded. If your watch is a recent purchase you may have rights against the seller under their terms of business or local statute. If you used a credit card to purchase the watch I'm aware some providers include insurance, you need to check. Your home contents insurance might be a way forward but it's unlikely.

On the question of a "Service Center", I'm not aware of any of the wearable makers that have these. I expect that this is due to the fact that water-tight integrity is impossible to guarantee if adhesives are disturbed.

Cheers
