My Inspire 3 has had a blank screen for about 3 weeks now. It still syncs with the app fine and vibrates. Unlike some other people here with a similar issue the screen does actually display the fitbit logo on restart. It also shows the logo and progress bar when I try to run the firmware update however this always fails at the final sync stage. I have tried the general troubleshooting of restarting the fitbit, force quitting the app and restarting the phone, changing the watch display etc but to no avail.
I have contacted fitbit support by email and heard nothing back. I've had the device over a year so presumably no longer under any sort of warranty.
Its very frustrating as everything in the background obviously works fine on the watch its just completely useless for actually telling the time now!
Any suggestions appreciated, I've stopped short of a full factory reset so far as the help documents said not to do this without contacting their support team first....
Performing a Factory Reset on the device would be the last thing the CS team could do to recover your device, so you have nothing to lose at this point in time. Just sync your device to upload all the latest data first.
Best AnswerMy screen is doing the same thing, it's been going from working as normal to the screen going very dim. Tonight it went blank. I just got this one in December, and hate to think of doing a factory reset for mine. If you find any solutions please pass them along!!!!
Best AnswerI changed the clock face and seemed to be doing a little better. Haven't restarted it yet.
Best AnswerIt is probably a good idea to restart the device after changing the clock face and then try changing the clock face back to the one that you want after the restart.
Best AnswerI tried doing the steps you listed above for @KTSheela , and the screen still keeps going from bright to dim.
Would restarting the device, from the device itself help. There's an option in the settings to restart the device, but haven't tried it yet, because I feel like if I click that it will be a factory reset.
Best AnswerHi, @Laneymcg1 it's not a factory reset. There are two options to restart your Inspire 3 as described here.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

Best Answer@Laneymcg1 , if you completed all the steps above to perform a Factory Reset of your device and the screen is still having issues, then the device is unfortunately defective.
If the device is less than one year old, you can return it for a replacement under the Factory 1-year warranty.
Best AnswerIt worked after I worked with support, so the screen is working back to normal 🤞. however now I have this spot that showed up on my screen not sure what it's from though.
