I've had the same issue with mine. Takes multiple app-shutdowns for it to appear. It's not immediate.

Please, try to perform the following steps in order to troubleshoot the Fitbit app:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Check if the issue is still happening.
