My Inspire 3 no longer receives notifications. The other settings do work and it does sync for steps, sleep, heart rate, etc. The Fitbit Android update was completed a few days ago. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the App on my Android cellphone several times; I have restarted my Inspire 3 while charged and not charging; I have tried to single out specific App Notifications, rather than "mirroring" my phone; I have unpaired from Bluetooth, and then re-paired; I have confirmed that all the settings on my cellphone are correct for Notifications. All of these I have done multiple times. I initially thought there was a problem with my Inspire 3, but this Forum shows that it is not just me. Can Fitbit please solve this problem? Additionally, I have successfully received all notifications in the past, with the Fitbit App constantly installed; but now when I turn off Bluetooth, then immediately turn it on and press the "Inspire 3" "Paired device," the following message appears: ""An App is needed to use this device," even though the App is present and has been updated.

No use, I have tried many many times.
Not only this problem, all the problems required lots of time to deal with but failed again again.
And now I have to spend another lots of time to post these problems here and no solution.
so frustrated!

Agreed... this problem is not resolved and still occurring in the latest update (4.56 & 4.57). I have a number of Inspire 3 Fitbits in my family that have been purchased over a couple years. All of them had no problems with getting notifications. After the application updates, all of them no longer would get text and phone notifications, though we did have one still get a camera notification for one of their apps. We were able to finally get a couple of our watches working by trying over and over restarting the watch and phone and flipping from individual notifications to “Mirror your phone” and performing a forced sync with watch via the Fitbit app. This is not a solution; it does not always work and it is not clear how long it will keep working. This issue needs to be elevated to the Tech Team with high level of severity, especially with the peak holiday season and the amount of people that will waste time and encounter challenges/frustrations with this issue resulting in unhappy customers and a lot of returns.

Hi, I tried to contact Fitbit via their Facebook messenger. There is Supporting Team following up the issue with me directly. You may try to see if it works for you. My issue is fixed now though I don’t know how long it lasts…
Good luck !

Glad it's not just me still having the issue. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and notifications worked for like 28 hours and then suddenly stopped again. Seriously hope they figure out the issue and get a real fix in the next app release
