Inspire 3 stopped syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Inspire 3, which I've had about a month, stopped syncing with the app last night (10/21). I have done the usual steps, even went to the Google forums, no luck. It's almost like the bluetooth on the tracker stopped working.

I have an Android (v.13), Samsung A13. Help?

Ok yes me too.

I contacted fitbit tonight on a chat apparently they are trying to do a new update on our fitbit app to help sort out the syncing problem.

We just need to keep a eye out for a new update and update straight away. They don't know a date yet. Just check on Google play for new updates for a fitbit update, and look on your fitbit app to try and sync it.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the update.

I've done all of the things and just downloaded the new app update. My inspire 3 still shows "download  the fitbit mobile app.

Having the same issue here, only on an iPhone. I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps with no luck and can't seem to find an old version of the app to download from the app store. Trying support chat now.

I now have 4.28.2, but still cannot sync my Inspire 3 with my Galaxy A13. I rebooted my phone, still no joy.

Hi Ashe, if you're having issues on iPhone then it seems the issue is getting worse! I was told on Saturday thst the issue was only Android and possibly only Samsung.

I'm speechless at the length of time it's taking to fix this.

I had the same issue, couldn’t sync for days then couldn’t find the tracker.. reinstalled the app & reset the inspire3 on the unit itself & finally it found it and was able to sync again. However, it successfully synced my 10k steps last night, but when synced this morning yesterday’s step count was reduced to 122… what now??? Will wait and see what today holds but after being a committed Fitbit wearer for many years I’m definitely starting to reconsider- I’ve never had issues like this in the past…

also, I’m on Apple iOS

Like everyone else I have this problem on a Samsung a13 device running Android 14. I have been told that the developers are looking to apply a fix, but there have been two releases since the problem started for me and neither has fixed it.

Same here. It's getting very frustrating. Maybe they need to get rid of
this update and go back to what worked and then try to figure out what went
wrong before they put it on the app

Yes, I've been told there's a fix in the works but neither update has
worked for me.

I did the update last night but it still isn't finding my inspire 3 when I try to set it up on the app. Its just useless having a fitbit which doesn't sync your steps and sleep etc.

It's a complete joke and they will be losing lots of customers if they don't get it sorted out soon.  It's been a week since mine last synced now 👎😒

Oh I'm so blowing a fuse.. or 2. Update 4.28.2 sneaked itself in and now I've lost all my steps made again and it's STILL not syncing.

And why isn't there a moderator around having the decency to say at least sorry for the inconvenience? And indeed why not go back to the last version that did work?? (4.27)

It's actually weirder (I'm not too sharp at 5:30 in the morning) my fitbit doesn't like Halloween?!? It says it's Friday 01 😳 HOW! Tablet has correct date.

Nothing has worked.  When are they either going to roll back 4.28.2 or put out a new update?

I absolutely agree with you!

I'm still using update 4.27.1 and all working fine.  I have chosen not to do the last 3 updates (based on reading all the other issues).  But, I also have an iPhone, which doesn't seem to be having the problems.  I'm just playing it safe and not doing updates for now just in case.

I'm Android, which appears to be the problem. I have auto updates set on,
so it just updated. I can't find a way to go back to previous update.
Anyone know of a way to do that?

I got mine back to 4.27 too, as all works just fine on that. Just wish I could find where to turn off those auto updates.. ah, found it: done in Google Play itself. Geezes, talking about well hidden settings!
@Irish6612 read back please.

You can change the auto update in the play store, settings, network
preference.
