Inspire 3 stopped syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Inspire 3, which I've had about a month, stopped syncing with the app last night (10/21). I have done the usual steps, even went to the Google forums, no luck. It's almost like the bluetooth on the tracker stopped working.

I have an Android (v.13), Samsung A13. Help?

I think it is all Android phones from my understanding as I have samsung
galaxy phone.

It is all Android phones. I have tried 2 of them. Tried  on an iPhone and it worked.

I had the same issue, someone suggested to install an older version of the fitbit app and that worked (but I lost some of my data). At least it reconnected and now syncs again...

Just as additional info - I have an inspire 3 that I sync with my iPhone.  I'm not having any problems.  So maybe it is just android users?

How do you get to the older version

I've got the exact same problem and did try all that's suggested too.. aside previous post from mine. Did it work? Because yes, it's Very Frustrating it all of a sudden stopped syncing like that and not being able to find a solution anywhere! Even the moderaters here have gone quiet?

Sadly I was told on the phone when I spoke to them it was a fault in the
update and was told to try rebooting my fitbit again in 4 days time with my
phone, I will then get a call back from them who i spoke to, to see if it's
worked or not.

Fingers crossed it does. I have 3 days to go.

Keep me posted

So far it worked, the only thing is that the app lost the data from the period that I couldn't connect. I still hope to retrieve those, as I read on several posts that the device should store the data for a week. But after installing the older fitbit app, my inspire 3 connects and synchronizes. (I did that yesterday afternoon, so fingers crossed...I turned off automatic updates for now)

been fixed.

Updated Galaxy A13 software this morning (27th Oct) after notification of availability - but last sync still 24-October.

Got mine back to work by installing older version too, with same result as Inspire3N (am missing 2 days). Was quite a scary puzzle (downloading from another party then google play) and turning off automatic downloads and NOT update to latest version when asked!!) So I won't recommend it unless you're like "got nothing to loose and know what I'm doing".

I sure hope they'll fix that update asap because they should be ashamed for having caused all these upset owners.

I got a reply from developer finally. Tried all suggested but does not sync. At this point have latest Android os, latest fitbit, paired Samsung A13 and old firmware. Tries to sync but cannot. Reluctant to Uninstall app again because it takes time and last time could not get it to pair

You'd need to install an older version of fitbit. Latest (4.28) is screwed, won't pair let alone sync) 4.27 is working fine.

But I get the impression people are just posting problems here but not reading what's said on topic so far. Guess employees are having the weekend off. And why shouldn't they, since they can't help anyone anyway cuz what we all need is a 🤬 software update that's working.
