Inspire 3 stuck on the Fitbit logo

My inspire 3 keeps going back to the diamond screen and I’m unable to connect it to my Fitbit app. Brand new and never able to use it, can’t return it to target and stuck with my old Fitbit. Please help!

Try hard restarting your device. Plug it into the charger and hold the buttons for ten seconds. Your screen will go dark and then a Fitbit logo will appear.

If this doesn't work, let it run out of charge and charge it back up again.
