A timer keeps coming on when I am walking. I need to know how to turn it off. I've googled and YouTubed with no luck, it's driving me nuts and is so distracting.

Many thanks Tricia Nelson

Hi, @, welcome, the "Walk" settings in your Inspire 3 have recently been altered, with new features being added. Swipe left (or right) from the Inspire clock screen to exercise>swipe up to "Walk">note the little chevron at the bottom of the screen and swipe up to & touch "set laps">check the show laps slider is in the "off" position>swipe up to & see lap type (time or distance) I suspect what you are seeing is active lap time. with the laps slider off it may be disabled. Try the other settings to see if you can disable the display concerning you.

I hope this helps, please post here again & let us know how you get on.

Cheers

Hi @Timerhater. Welcome to the forums.

Thank you for providing the information regarding this difficulty that you are experiencing with your Inspire 3.

If you haven't done so already, please try these additional steps:

  1. Restart your Fitbit as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Try changing the clock face option as well and check if you continue to have the same situation.

It's an orange Timer/Stopwatch? It comes on around a thousand steps and it's just really annoying. This is my third fitbit and it didn't do it on my first 2 ever. It distracts me from my walking .
