Inspire 3 won't sync anymore with my iPhone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My watch has not synced with my IPhone for weeks, it says syncing but then when the progress bar gets halfway it stalls and nothing happens.

i have tried,

  • Resetting the watch
  • Turned Bluetooth on and off and tried forgetting and reconnecting the watch in my Bluetooth settings
  • Updated the app
  • Deleted and re downloaded the app

As a last ditch I told the app to remove the device but when I try to find the watch again it can’t find it.

I am really disappointed, I have only had the watch a year or two after moving from Garmin devices. They both lasted far longer than this one and were cheaper. I expected more from a Fitbit tbh.

Any advice on anything else I can try would be appreciated.

Hi there, @thevilraggydoll. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 is still not syncing with your iPhone. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As our last approach, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Inspire 3.
Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

With the above being said, please sync your Luxe and then, proceed with the steps below in the order listed:

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  2. On your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Device Info > Clear User Data

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that How do I set up my Fit-bit device?

While pairing your Inspire 3 back, please unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings, turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Inspire 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
