Inspire 3 won’t sync

My Fitbit inspire 3  won’t sync to my iPhone. I’ve tried all the options such as forgetting the device, turning Bluetooth off, restarting the the device etc and nothing seems to be working. Can anyone suggest what else I can do?

Got the same probleem. Watch shows wrong time and date. Also stepcounting and that kind of informatie Does nog work. No where be found how to solve problem.

I'm having the same problem. It won't sync to my phone. Tried deleting the app, and reinstall but it won't pair.

I've reset bluetooth; restarted watch on charger... still no go.

I have the same problem. It used to sync without problem and now it seems to get halfway and get stuck. Have tried the same things.

Me too. Started a few days ago and I would have to click several time before it would fully sync. Seems at the moment it won’t sync at all. It used to sync without any intervention on my part.

Me too. I've tried reinstalling the Fitbit app and my Inspire 3, switching bluetooth off and on. It just won't find the device for the bluetooth pairing.

Update- finaly it worked. Hopefully next time it Will sync withoute me having to do anything

I have the same problem about wrong time, and it won't sync.  I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but so far it won't sync and this is 4th day. I don't know what to do to resolve.

I just again started syncing, and about the 3rd time it finally connected.

For me a wonder that finally, after about a month and just after replying on this post I finally got it to work. I was so disappointed in the inspire3, with my old Fitbit I never had any problems, I did not have to do a thing to get it syncing, but the band got broken at the connection point to the Fitbit, so I had to get a new Fitbit. And with this one I have to sync or update the Fitbit myself, gets me irritated when it does not work….

I have to turn off bluetooth and turn it back on every time I want to sync,
then I have to click sync in the app, sometimes more than once until the
bar goes all the way across.

Welcome to the forums everybody. 

Thank you for taking the time to share all about what you are experiencing with Inspire 3. Sorry to know about this difficulty.

If you haven't done so already, please try the following steps that have been useful for other users: 

  • Force quit the Fitbit app. 
  • Turn Bluetooth off and on. 
  • Open the Fitbit app and sync again

In addition, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the three pulse restart method: 

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  2. Open the Settings app> Restart device> Restart.

If your device is unresponsive:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press and hold the buttons on your tracker for 10 seconds.
  3. Release the buttons. When Inspire 3 vibrates and you see the Fitbit logo, the tracker restarts.

If you're still having any issues, please try all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems, and make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available.

What does “force quit the app” mean?  How do I do that on an iPhone?

What did you do to get it to sync? I haven't synced since Nov 3. I can't synced to Windows laptop, iPad or iPhone.

How do you press and hold the buttons  on Inspire 3?

I did it with my iPhone. iPhone and Fitbit in chargeren and close together. And all of A sudden it did not stop and I got it updated. Totday A new update-massage. I Will never learn, because since this morning it keeps in The sync-modus. 
I realtime think The Fitbit 3 Does not work with The iPhone. It keeps hiv-infectie problems…

Was going nuts trying to figure out on my own and got no where. Finally came into here and tried this.

Got mine to re-sync by doing this: 

  • Force quit the Fitbit app. 
  • Turn Bluetooth off and on. 
  • Open the Fitbit app and sync again
