I recently lost my Fitbit and had to buy a new one. Have the inspire 3, had the 2 before. I have tracked my consumed and burned calories for years. I’ve noticed I will do say 10000 or my 12000 avg steps and I update all day and into the evening before bed it will show my burned calories around 1700 to 1900 given my steps. When I got to sync the next morning my calories burned always stops then around 1200 or 1300 for that day before. I am so frustrated. I’ve tried all the troubleshoots that have been mentioned. Anyone have any other ideas? I have been a loyal customer for 10 years. The new app face almost drove me away, but if this doesn’t get resolved I am moving on to another option.

Hi, @Rachporter welcome to the community. May I assume you are looking at the Fitbit app on your phone for your calorie burn? How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity? - Fitbit Help Center has a section on calorie count that may be of interest.
If you continue to be concerned, may I suggest you delete & reload the Fitbit app on your phone? (You do not mention the make, model & OS of your phone. This advice relates to Android phones - iOS phones have similar settings.) The Belt & braces procedure to create a clean reload is as follows. Go to your phone settings>apps>Fitbit>force stop>clear storage>uninstall>go to connected devices & "forget" your Fitbit device. RESTART YOUR PHONE. Go to the Play Store & reload the Fitbit app and set it up with your Google account. Pair your Inspire 3 with the app in the usual way. Give it a day or so to see if it's settled down.
I hope this helps, please post here again & let us know how you get on.
Cheers
