When I create a record in the Fitbit app for Circuit Training, the calorie count I see generated based on duration is different from what gets logged in the activity summary. When I go back to edit the record the original calorie count is there and then when saved it then matches the activity summary. There is a bug with this feature.
Using: iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 18, Fitbit app 4.26.1, and firmware 63.20001.210.26

I also noticed when manually logging my weight training under “weights” it states my summary statistic in “miles” vs “calories.”
I must be walking around more than lifting 🙂

Same issue persists in Fitbit app 4.27 with the calorie count changing after manually logging it under Circuit Training. I have to reopen the circuit training record in edit mode for the calorie count to then save correctly.

Based on the issues identified earlier in this string, I decided to stop manually logging my gym activity (cardio and weights). I switched to using the “workout” exercise on my Inspire 3 tracker to log my time at the gym. I have heard/read many times that calorie counts can be off on trackers/smart watches. For me, I am more concerned with having a consistent/reliable/repeatable logging process within the app than it being per se “accurate.”
I successfully used the “workout” exercise today on the tracker. I plan to stick with this until it proves to be inconsistent.
