Menstrual health view only mode

Suddenly today the menstrual health tracker says “view only mode,” takes me to a screen where I click “accept” for it to track my data, still stays in “view only mode!” I’ve been tracking this way for years, literally made my last entry last night.????

Me too. I was able to edit last week. I hope there’s a fix.

Same issue here. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and turned my phone off and back on and it’s still not working.

I edited just last night, lol. I spoke to Customer Service and he said there is an app update coming today or tomorrow that SHOULD fix the issue.

Me too! So annoying and still not fixed 😞

I’m having the same issue! No matter how many times I click accept it stays in view only. I just called and all they said is they’re aware of the issue and working on it but no idea when it would be solved

I can't share my experience here (male; happy to have no period myself; but I empathise), however, you're not alone. There are other posts on the community, in addition to reports and discussion popping up on Reddit as we speak; including, but not limited to:

No acknowledgement from Fitbit or moderators here as of yet. To others affected by this issue: keep sharing your experiences (to constructively help the developers fix this asap, naturally).

Thanks for speaking to customer service and updating us! I’ve got a charge 6 and having the same issue with my menstrual tracking and the irritating “view only mode” and not being able to edit my period dates. I hope the update fixes it. It’s too bad Google ruined the Fitbit experience for so many of us ☹️

I called Fitbit customer service at 4 am EST and did trouble shooting and it’s still not fixed. They need to do something’s about all these “glitches” that have been happening since Google took over! I’m about to get an Apple Watch because this is ridiculous!!

Same thing here and it won’t let me accept / have tried all the usual troubleshooting to no avail!!

as I already mentioned, I talked to somebody from customer service and he claims that there is going to be an update today. Well, it is 7 PM Eastern time now and still no update. He sent me an email with a case number saying that after the update if my App is still not working properly, I should let him know. Like I said, still waiting for the update.

Now I see there is a response from the moderator with no reference to this supposed update to the app that is coming. I guess we’ll just wait and see.

Same for me. And my sleep tracker hasn’t been logging my full nights sleep as well. I’ve had to edit it off and on for weeks

They didn’t mention anything about an update to me when I called. This is so frustrating as I’m trying to track ovulation! They better fix this soon

I see how this could be a problem for you at this important time in your life 👶🍼. Funny thing, I’m trying to track perimenopause as I am 54 and still having lots of periods I don’t want 😂😂😂.
