My new Inspire 3 does not display the Fitbit icon in the upper left corner of the app.

Did you complete the Bluetooth pairing process yet?

Yes, I think so. The data displays in the app.

If the device is BT paired to the phone, you should see an icon in the upper lef-hand corner of the Today screen with a battery percentage value to the right of it.  Then, when you click that icon, you should see a 'Connected to Fitbit' page that has both an Inspire 3 and phone icon, which should indicate that both devices have recently synced.

Yes, I see it. I thought it was connected with the battery display since
it's in the same bubble (?). I was able to click on it. Thanks for
responding so quickly.

Now I need to get the water icon on the device display.

Click the pencil in the upper right-hand corner of the Today screen and then switch on 'Water'.

I should have been more specific. I'm referencing the water lock setting
per page 21 of the Inspire 3 user manual.

I know that selecting swim exercise will automatically apply water lock.

I want to apply the water lock setting in other situations.

Swipe down from the clock face until you get to the water lock setting.
