So I just got the Inspire 3 because I wanted a simple, basic, easy to use tracker, so far I'm pleased with my purchase. However, wearing the watch at night, I look and it says my sleep has been 1 hour, etc, etc, basically the most slept it has recorded in 1 night has been something like 4 hours and some odd minutes. Is this really all the solid sound sleep I'm getting? I do get up in the middle of the night, probably at least twice for a bathroom break. I do usually go to bed by 10pm and wake up around 6am. Thanks for all the help on this one.

I have same problem. Noticed sleep tracking stop times are same as when I get up for the bathroom breaks, old people’s problem. Think it may have as much to do with getting up for couple minutes. Seems to shut down the tracking. I have tried all the suggestions. No luck. Tried sleep log but that seems to shuts off too many other things.
I love my Fitbit been a customer for years. Had a Charge 5 did same thing. Do like the inspire 3 got the right features for me. Both watches tracked sleeping well for about 3/4 of a year then seemed to have same sleep tracking issues.
Good luck to you!

A warm welcome to the community @SunsetRunner.
Thank you for sharing the details regarding the situation with recording sleep.
When your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your device should record that you’re asleep. Before considering other options, please keep in mind that there are some factors that may prevent your tracker from recording your sleep. Please make sure of the following:
- If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device as described in this help article.
- If you slept for less than 1 hour for sleep patterns or less than 3 hours for sleep stages.
- If your device’s battery is critically low.
If you haven't done so already, please complete a restart. In addition, please wear your device on your non-dominant hand and monitor it for the next few days.

longest battery life of all of them...10 days, I mostly bought the Inspire
3 because it was simple, basic and I wanted just a tracking watch vs a
smart watch, so far i do love it and the price was great too.
