I have unistalled the app and reinstalled

I have shut down iPhone and turned it back on

I have restarted the Fitbit from the settings menu

I have gone from work WiFi to home WiFi

No other devices connected to Bluetooth

Bluetooth is absolutely on, it shows that in the Bluetooth section menu on my iPhone that during the pairing process the Fitbit is connected, but the App continues to search for a connnection and eventually fails.

Display screen of Fitbit say "Try Again" with a big X

No idea what's left to try.

Thanks all!

I should also add that both the iPhone and Fitbit are fully charged.  I also tried with both plugged in to their respective chargers.

Thanks again!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble pairing your Fitbit Inspire 3 with your iPhone 12. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Make sure your Fitbit is fully charged. Low battery can affect the pairing process.

  2. Reset your Fitbit Inspire 3 by following these steps: a. Go to the Settings app on your Fitbit. b. Scroll down and select "About". c. Scroll down and select "Factory Reset". d. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device.

  3. Make sure your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.

  4. Make sure the Bluetooth on your iPhone is turned on and your iPhone is discoverable. You can do this by going to Settings > Bluetooth and making sure it's turned on.

  5. Forget the device on your iPhone by going to Settings > Bluetooth and tapping on the "i" icon next to your Fitbit device. Then, tap "Forget This Device".

  6. Restart your iPhone and try pairing your Fitbit again.

  7. If none of these steps work, try resetting the network settings on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will erase all saved Wi-Fi passwords, so you'll need to re-enter them.

If none of these steps work, you may want to contact Fitbit customer support for further assistance.

It seems like you've already tried many troubleshooting steps to pair your Fitbit with your iPhone 12. Here are a few more suggestions to help you establish a connection:

  1. Reset Network Settings on your iPhone:

    • Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
    • This will reset all network settings, including Wi-Fi, cellular data, and Bluetooth. You'll need to reconnect to Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth devices afterward.
  2. Update your iPhone's software:

    • Ensure you have the latest version of iOS by going to Settings > General > Software Update. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it.
  3. Clear Bluetooth cache on your Fitbit:

    • Turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone.
    • Restart your Fitbit (you've already done this, but it's good to repeat after turning off Bluetooth on your iPhone).
    • Turn Bluetooth back on your iPhone and try pairing again.
  4. Check for Fitbit firmware updates:

    • Ensure you have the latest firmware version for your Fitbit by visiting the Fitbit website and searching for your device's specific model.
  5. Try using a different smartphone or tablet:

    • If you have access to another iOS or Android device, try pairing your Fitbit with it. This can help you determine if the issue is specific to your iPhone 12 or the Fitbit itself.
  6. Contact Fitbit Support:

    • If you're still unable to pair your Fitbit with your iPhone, consider reaching out to Fitbit Support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or identify any known issues affecting pairing.

Good luck, and I hope one of these steps helps you establish a successful connection between your Fitbit and iPhone 12.

Google Inspire 3 Fitbit factory reset videos. Remember, it has to be connected and charging at least 70 %.
