How do I get rid of this ad? I have tried the standard click X, went and viewed read more, closed app, opened again. Still doesn't vanish. Makes the user experience and satisfaction a mess.

Hi, @tonyh175, this is an encouragement to get "Premium" from Fitbit. Should you subscribe (you may have a free trial from when you bought the device) you will get access to this "fun" item (among many other features).

Should you want to take your issue further you can put forward a feature suggestion here, use the search bar to find out if a similar suggestion has already been put forward that merits your vote. It's quite easy to put forward a detailed suggestion and they are monitored by moderators.
