I don’t know what the issue is. I have tried absolutely every tip that I can find online. The only thing that has worked for me was factory resetting my fitbit (which I don’t want to do because I like to keep track of progress).
Im at a loss, I don’t know what to do. Everytime I try to sync through the app it gets stuck in the exact same spot, just a bit less than halfway.
I’ve restarted my phone (iPhone 12) + the fitbit (inspire 3), uninstalled the app, checked for updates, turned wifi off, removed fitbit from bluetooth devices and tried using data to sync but to no avail.
Could this be an issue with the actual fitbit itself since the only solution i’ve come by is factory resetting it

Hi, @katrinacg I find the easiest and quickest way to force a sync is to log out of the Fitbit app and log in again. (Be sure you know the email address associated with your account and the password.).
If you are able to set your Fitbit up again after removing it, then it is definitely able to sync. You should not need to factory reset it/ clear user data. It is important to remember that sync problems are not unusual and often resolve themselves without the user doing anything. I would recommend trying the logging out/ logging in method for a few days and seeing if it syncs spontaneously.
You may find some more tips in this help article for troubleshooting a Fitbit that won’t sync.
