Hello,

I've just bought an Inspire 3, having had an Inspire 1 and 2 previously. 

I've run twice with it this week and both times the data has been so out of sync! Today I ran for 58 mins, but apparently that was only 3.21 miles. I've run with and without GPS connected and both readings have been around 50% out.

My stride is automatic but looks about right. I've tried the classic restart, etc. 

I'm very frustrated because my previous Inspires were so accurate even without GPS turned on.

Any ideas? Or should I send back?

@helenaaa ...  I believe you should be able to calibrate your step size instead of using the automatic using the app.

I use my treadmill and run 3 miles (or 3 miles ×5,280 ft/mile=15,840 ft*12 inches/ft.=190,080 inches.   I take that number of 190,080 and divide it by my number of steps to get my average stride length and then put that in the app.  It gets me much closer but can vary depending on the intensity and incline of my run but on average its a pretty good estimate.
