Sleep Score and hours tracked

Hello,

I've noticed some others having issues with their Inspire 3 not giving them sleep scores or tracking the hours slept incorrectly.

I recently got a replacement inspire 3 because my first Fitbit was defective. Since getting this new one, I rarely recieve a sleep score. Sometimes for over a week. More recently, it's been tracking me as sleeping very limited hours a night... which in turn tells my Fitbit that my readiness score is low and I should be mindful of my activity due to lack of sleep. I thought maybe I really was getting little hours of sleep but now that it continues to track 2 or 3 hours a night consistently, I'm bringing to wonder how accurate my fit bit really is.

I have done things like make sure my Fitbit is worn properly on my non dominent hand and reset many times. Nothing seems to work to get an accurate reading for a sleep score.. and now this past week it's reading that I'm only getting 2 or 3 hours of sleep a night.  When before it was reading anywhere between 6 to 8 hours which felt more realistic to my sleep habits.

Thanks for anyone's insights!

I too have a similar problem.  I bought my Inspire 3, 3 days ago and it has wrongly reported my sleeping hours for the first 2 nights.  I usually sleep 9 hours and it reports less then 3 hours of sleep.

If a lot of people are having this issue, then in my opinion, it points to an application bug.

I'm having a similar issue. I've had my Inspire 3 since June, and have only noticed this problem recently.

That's a good point!! I tried deleting my sleep log last night and entering it manually. It reloaded my log as 7 hours with less restless time. This seemed alot more accurate.

Unfortunately, I don't have any insight as to how to fix it. Hoping someone comes through with something. I wonder if there is a tech support or something that can be reached as to why fit bit inspires track alot of areas incorrectly?

Also affected by this. Bought the Inspire 3 mainly for sleep tracking, and got a 1h48 sleep (until I got up briefly for bathroom break) then nothing. I tried the manual log entry as you suggested, and it worked, although I am reading in an older post that by doing that you loose all information/analysis about sleep stages, which is a shame.

I modify the setting to "sensitive", which seems to have helped. One thing that I noticed this morning, and maybe worth mentioning: I think it takes a little while after getting up for the algorithm to calculate details of your night. So, if you check directly after getting up, you get wrong data. For example, this morning, just after getting up, I've got a night of 1h04 sleep, which was obviously wrong. But a little while later, I checked again, and got 6h sleep (which is right).
