Hi @Cdaines, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your sleep score. Thank you for everything you have tried.
In order to get a sleep score, you need to receive sleep stages. If you have sleep stages but can't find a sleep score, update the Fitbit app to the latest version. For instructions, refer to How do I use the Fitbit app? > How do I update the Fitbit app?
If you didn’t get sleep stages, check What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages? > Why aren’t my sleep stages showing up today?

Hi, @Cdaines , my mother had this problem - possibly after updating her device, I am not sure - and it turned out that somehow her HR detection had been turned off. You cannot get a sleep score (or sleep stages) if your Fitbit is not detecting your heart rate. To check this on your Fitbit swipe down to find the settings menu. Tap to open and then swipe up to come to heart rate. Make sure that it is turned on.
If it is on and you are not getting detailed sleep information then even with HR turned on for some reason your Fitbit is not consistently reading your heart rate. It is possible that it is being warn too loosely (it should be snug so that it does not flop around on your wrist, without being tight). It also might be worth cleaning the back of your Fitbit so that the LEDs can shine brightly on your skin. Advice on cleaning and other wear and care info can be found here .
Full info on how Fitbit tracks and reports sleep is here . I hope this helps!
