I am looking to purchase a fitbit watch - probably the inspire but before I do I need to make sure I can turn off certain features. I have a history an eating disorder and these smart watches/fitness bands can be very triggering. I don't want to go backwards with the progress I've made in recovery, so can anyone tell me for certain if i can turn off the calorie counter, or weight aspects of the app?

Hello @Msteffes97 and welcome to the Community. You can control what you see on the Fitbit app. Your Fitbit will track certain metrics, even if you don't show them on the app. Can you clarify one thing. please? What do you mean by calorie counter? If you are asking about logging food, then that is completely optional and you can remove it from your app screen. If you are asking about calories your burned, then that is a little different. You can remove calories burned from the app screen. But calories burned are a Fitbit core stat. It is on the Inspire 3 screen and in exercise details when you track exercise. You can't remove the information from these places.

Yes I was meaning the calories burned. So I can remove it from the app screen but it will show up on the watch screen no matter what?
