I have two daughters who are using brand-new FitBit Insire 3 trackers. We are Americans living in Ukraine, and we recently noticed that the time on their bands was 3 hours off. While in the US (where we purchased the bands) the time worked correctly, syncing automatically with their iPhones. However, when we came back to Ukraine, the time would not sync, and it stayed 3 hours behind.
After playing around with their settings and finally resorting to manually setting the location and timezone, I discovered two issues.
Firstly, you have Ukraine's capital listed twice: once with the correct Ukrainian spelling (Kyiv) and once with the legacy russian/soviet spelling (Kiev). You should remove the latter.
Secondly, there are several Ukrainian cities listed, but upon selecting any of them, the app reverts back to UTC time (3 hours behind us).
For now, we have worked around the issue by manually selecting Europe/Riga (Latvia). However, this is definitely a bug and needs to be fixed.
Thank you.
