Unable to update my Inspire 3

I have just bought my Inspire 3 off the shelves and it says New Update is available, however clicking on the 'Update' button does nothing.

My Fitbit App is up to date (Fitbit 4.49 (44937015)) on my iPhone 16 Pro.

Hi there, @fookingiri. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your new Inspire 3 is not updating to the latest firmware version. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, I'd recommend taking a look at this help article Why can't I update my Fitbit device?

If after trying the above you are still unable to update your Inspire 3, I'd recommend waiting around 2 more days to try again.

I have already tried the methods available as shared, and it still doesn't work. Mind I ask, how does waiting for 2 days help?

Same for me!! My inspire 3 and the Fitbit app won’t let me update the device. I get to the update button, press it, nothing! I’ve uninstalled, unpaired, forgot device, removed device, everything I could try and it wouldn’t work. Reached out to customer service and they couldn’t help and said since I got it from amazon, the warranty was voided? This has been a problem for several different fitbits. The fact that they refuse to help…now I have to buy a new tracker, but it won’t be a Fitbit.
