Vibration not working for text notifications

I cannot wait to get a different device. Fitbit was good for several years, but now it is certainly time to move on, However, in the meantime, I have another issue, which is a new one for me. The new issue is this: I am receiving text notifications on the Fitbit, but I am unaware of it because there is no vibration. I've done all the basic troubleshooting for it, and it is still a problem. When a phone call comes in, I do receive a notification, and it does vibrate. So neither my phone nor the Fitbit are on any kind of silent mode, Bluetooth is fine, and notifications are sharing. Just no vibrations for texts. This is brand new this morning.

@julesjmj A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and efforts.

When you write :" So neither my phone nor the Fitbit are on any kind of silent mode, Bluetooth is fine, and notifications are sharing." Do you mean that the Inspire 3 is not in Don't disturb or Sleep mode, right? If the Inspire 3 is on one of these status, try turning them of.

You mentioned that the Inspire 3 vibrates when calls are received, this means that the vibration feature works.

In the meantime, please try the following:
Connect your device to the charging cable and charge it for at least 30 minutes. For instructions, refer to How do I charge my Fitbit device?
Press and hold the buttons on your tracker for 10 seconds.
Release the buttons. The tracker has restarted when it vibrates and the Fitbit logo shows up.

If possible let someone send you a message.
