Did you mean:

Weekly etc. totals not showing up for steps and miles

ANSWERED

When I tap the steps or miles icon, I get no data for the day/week/month/year. However I do get this data for sleep and zone minutes. Just upgraded the firmware and repaired with Bluetooth and I still have the problem. Inspire 3.

Thank you. After posting this in the community, I also contacted Fitbit via chat we basically did the steps you recommend above, and my totals are restored.

Very strange that would only affect steps and miles, and not sleep and active minutes!

Hi, @SantaFeKate, Welcome. Can you please provide some more information? Which software have you updated? Your phone (let us know which make, model & OS). The Fitbit app or the recent update to your Inspire 3?

A good fallback procedure is to delete & reinstall the Fitbit app on your phone. The belt & braces procedure is as follows. Manually sync your Fitbit app. Go to your phone settings>apps>Fitbit app>force stop>clear storage>uninstall>go to your phone connected devices & "forget" your Inspire 3>NOW RESTART YOUR PHONE. Go to the Play Store & reinstall the Fitbit app and log in with your Google account, set up your your Inspire 3 again.

Please post here again & let us know how you get on.

Cheers

If I follow these steps as outlined above, will I lose all my historical data?

I am having the same issue as the original poster, but only on my iPhone app. My iPad app seems to have all the information I need, but I’d rather have it on my phone. Thanks!

I did not lose my historical data. It was a pretty straightforward solution.

Hi, Could you please provide the steps needed to correct this problem on an iPhone? I don't see how to force stop/clear storage/etc on my phone. I've got an iPhone 12 mini, iOS 18.5. Everything else seems to work, just no weekly/monthly totals anymore. Thanks for your help!

I don’t think I can reconstruct exactly what I did. But I basically followed the directions in the post near the top of this sequence. Make sure your phone is synced correctly for today. Then delete and reinstall the app and set it up again. Hopefully that will work!

If not, I had success on a chat with Fitbit. Good luck!

Thanks. I did this, including chat with Fitbit. Fitbit told me "they were working on the problem.” So no solution yet. I miss this function.

Hi there! It's great to see you all here in the Fitbit Community!

@jillzer1011@Ruach525 Welcome to the Fitbit Family!

@Gr4ndp4@SantaFeKateThanks for the help!

@Ruach525 I suggest you try to follow the steps as @SantaFeKate suggested and to log out before you delete the Fitbit app, then reinstall and log in again.
