Hi, @DonnaMagson Welcome to the community, We will need more information to help you.

  • What exercise are you doing?
  • Are you starting the exercise in your Inspire 3 (swipe left from the clock screen>exercise>swipe up to select your exercise>touch the "Start" arrow or are you relying on the auto-recognize feature?

Your device will record all the "Steps" you take without any action on your part How accurate are Fitbit devices? describes what is involved.

Let us know by posting here again.

Cheers

Hi, @DonnaMagson, Thanks for your quick advice. You should review the auto-recognize settings in your Fitbit app on your phone (If you have had an app update recently the settings may have been affected) From the "Today" screen touch your account icon in the top left corner>activity & wellness>Exercise>examine each auto-recognise setting by touching each exercise in turn - ensure the slider in the top right is in the on position and the "longer than" time is right for you, touch SAVE & repeat for each exercise. Return to the "Today" screen & sync.

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers

Hi, @DonnaMagson, Have you tried restarting your Inspire 3?

Restart.
  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press and hold the buttons on your tracker for 10 seconds.
  3. Release the buttons. When Inspire 3 vibrates and you see the Fitbit logo, the tracker restarts.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
