I bought a new Inspire HR and have been soooo excited to get it. I received it only days ago - charged it and have worn it at most 3 full days/2 nights and have not even got it wet yet!
This afternoon I noticed the band looking shiny in the sunlight and found that the matte finish on parts of the band had rubbed off, particularly on the securing loop which is almost now completely glossy???? it is very obvious too!
I cant believe this.... is was soooo impressed with the sleek look and super soft feel, but now the band looks tatty and old... after only days of wear???? I would not rec getting one if this is normal. I really hope this is a one-off and I need it replaced or something because it looks really bad. I can only imagine how bad it is going to look after a few weeks..... or after 2.5 years and that's how long I had my charge 2 and its still looking as new as the day I got it! Not happy!!

Hi @AM003, I don't know how to fix your issue, but you might want to look into third party bands if it's really an issue for you. A quick Google search showed me some bands from Amazon for as little as $3.99. You could also try eBay too, I've had good luck with their bands as well.

I’ve finally got a resolution. No replacement in hand as yet but appreciate greatly that Fitbit are kind enough to be shipping one out for me! It’s taken a while and quite a few emails but we got there in the end.
Thank you. I love my Fitbit and glad it will be in working order soon enough!!
