Purchased Inspire HR 3 days ago. When pulling down on dashboard to sync, it says “failed to sync device” with a red line under it. I have deleted the app and reinstalled, turned off and on Bluetooth, and shut down the iPhone. Nothing has helped. Also, it is not giving me any notifications. Help!

Hi, @49SK , a restart can often force a sync. To restart your Inspire HR:
Also note that your Inspire HR can only sync, and get notifications from, a single device (it needs to “pair” to that device for notifications to work). So if you also have the Fitbit app on a computer or tablet, make sure that Bluetooth is turned off on any other device before you try to sync or set up notifications.
If you can get your device to sync, you should get a message asking if you want to pair. Say yes!
If restarting your Inspire HR and making sure Bluetooth is off on other devices does not solve the issue, you can try resetting it up as a new device. (Do NOT remove it from your account first.). On your app go to the account screen and choose at the bottom, “Set up a device”. From the list choose “Inspire HR”. You will get a message saying you already have an Inspire HR on your account; do you want to replace it? Say yes and then follow the instructions.
Note: setting your Inspire HR as a new device will NOT cause you to lose any data already synced or data on the Fitbit not yet synced.
Hopefully one of these suggestions will get you going. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
