Hi,

I have an ABN AMRO Maestro.
The Cardnumber for wearables is 19 digits long.

The app only accept 16 digits (like credit cards) the card from ABN is support according to fitbit.

How can I deal with this?

Maybe anyone had the same issue?

Thanks,

Marcel

I would contact the help number on the card. They are responsible for this connection with Fitbit.

As for adding a card, yes this can only, as the instructions say, can be added through the Fitbit phone app.

I think this is for user security since it requires the phone unlock code to access.

I succeeded in adding an ABN AMRO betaalkaart / Maestro debit card! 😀

Login to your ABN AMRO online / mobile banking app and find the 19-digit card number of your MAESTRO debit card there. You can find it via Settings => wearables

You enter (copy/paste) this card number (which is different from your bank account number) in the field Card Number of the fitbit app on your mobile and you enter the valid thru month and year.

Leave the secret code blank (empty), it's an optional field.

Yes, I saw your post about using the mobile app intead off the Fitbit-website. Thanks for the info.

But another essential thing to know, is that for Maestro debit cards (betaalkaarten), you also need to look up the 19-digit card number in your mobile banking app, since that number isn't stated on the physical card itself.

And that the card's secret number isn't required.

I've added an ABN AMRO and a Rabobank card successfully with these steps (both Maestro debit cards)

Your solution did not work. I attempted to add a card through the app and it did not work. (Also if I have messed something up I could not see the full posts I I had not fill in the blanks a tiny bit)

@petem87 Fitbit has no intention of setting up the webpage for adding cards.

This is probably because a web page is unable to communicate with a Bluetooth connected device.

@T-Rex101 you say that something didn't work, but I see no mention of what step the setup process failed or if you received an error.

I cant even apply my ABN to the fitbit. It askes for a security number but It doesn't exist...
