3 weeks and GPS still not connecting

I have tried all of the tips mentioned in many of these forum answers to get the GPS on my Ionic to connect. I have never had a problem since I bought it 18 months ago. Three weeks ago it started to lose connections during a run/bike/ hike, and now it won't connect at all. The dreaded flashing connecting goes on and on. I have unpaired, re-paired, updated, synced a trillion times, tried in an open area under blue skies, etc... 

 

So frustrating!
