When I start an activity, (running for exemple) I set the information that a want to track ( distance, hour, pace for exemple) on the screen during my run. I start my run and everything is going well. But after the day, if I want to go for a run, I have to set my setting for the run again. The three information that I set on the screen to have it during the run are no more registered and I have to set it again. I have the ionic for 6 month and the setup was always keep my information that I want to track. I restarted my watch, but it didn't fix it.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Etiennegelinas! Hmmm... this is very strange. Thanks for already restarting your tracker, nice way to go!

In order for me to move forward, I'd like you to please confirm if you've followed the steps below to properly perform the restart:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If Fitbit Ionic doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

Additionally, as you may know. During exercise, your watch shows 3 stats about your activity. The top and bottom stats show 1 stat of your choice; swipe the middle stat to scroll through other stats or see the time of day.

To customize the stats you see during exercise:

  1. On your watch, open the Exercise app > Run.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top left.
  3. Find Customize Stats.
  4. Set the information you want to view during exercise for the top, middle, and bottom stats.
  5. Press the back button to return to the exercise screen.

Looking forward to your response!

I did the restart as you told me.

after the restart, I set the  Customize Stats as i wanted to see the information for during exercice.

I close the setting and waited 2 hours to see if it register

After the 2 hour, i went back to the  Customize Stats, and it didn't registered.

It always cancel the setting. I tried to set the information and exit for 2 min. This time it keep the information, but after a couple of minute, it cancel the informationa again.

Hello @Etiennegelinas if I'm correct.. Are you refering to the settings on the ionic for each event? If so several of us on the council have noticed that they are not saved for future runs.

Mine is doing this too. I've done all the resets and restarts. My run, walk and hike all used to be set at 1.0 miles to track and suddenly one morning they were all at 0.5 miles. I checked my app and they're set for 1.0 miles, so I manually change them all in the Ionic and it works... for a few hours and then changes all 3 back to 0.5 miles.
