Ionic dead?

Hi all,

My FitBit Ionic seems to have sadly died. After my workout yesterday, it has stopped recording heartrate and continuously displays a red light on the bottom.

I have reset it several times, switched it off via “Settings - Shutdown” (watch is off; red light stays on) and checked for new software.

Any pointers as to what to do? Or should I just declare time of death and move on to another brand?

cheers!

The same thing happened to mine today! It was working fine this morning and I went to check the time and the screen was black. It is fully charged, so I knew it wasn't the battery. Nothing is bringing the screen back. I've had problems with this since I got it last year with just randomly deciding when it will notify me of messages, etc. so it is irritating!

Mine did the same today but I do have the green light blinking on the back. My phone cannot find the Bluetooth signal.

Just did a little more research.   Hold the left Button and the bottom right button at the same time for approx 10 seconds.  Then release.   My reset after that.

Nope - already tried this kind of reset and it did nothing. The red light even stayed on while resetting...
