We only have 1 computer, how do I add my wife's Ionic too ?  I want to transfer music to her Ionic as I have done with mine but the App on my W10 laptop will not allow me to add a second Ionic to the account - am I correct in thinking she will need to log in to the account with her own credentials and then the App will switch to her device and let her sync music?

You cannot have both on the same account.  You would need separate accounts, and have to keep logging out of one account and then into the other.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
