Can I please get some inputs here...
I have enabled Always-On Screen when I manually track a session using the Exercise app on Ionic. But it seems like any sort of vibration (like a firm tap on the screen, or even water splashing e.g. during a swim session) will turn off the screen.
I'm not sure if this is an intended feature, but I started noticing this "problem" after my Ionic decided to go haywire and automatically aborted manual tracking twice during a swim session yesterday.
I contacted support yesterday and they escalated my case to a specialist. Since then, I have done a factory reset on my own. However, the screen still just turns off with a tap during manual exercise tracking even with always-on screen enabled.
Does tapping the screen hard during exercise tracking, despite having the always-on screen function enabled, turn off your screen? Please test and get back to me.

A warm welcome to the Community @Danymite! Thank you so much for the feedback provided about always-on screen during exercise session. I'm glad to hear that you were able to contact Customer Support and they are helping you troubleshooting this feature as it should stay on, if you have this setting selected. I just tried this option and it seems to be working.
Hope I can continue seeing you around!
P.S. I've noticed that you got a new Fitbit Ionic as a solution from our Support team. Hope you can continue enjoying it and tracking your exercises.
