I changed my Garmin for Ionic and I'm not so very pleased with that!
Ionic is quite beautiful, not so heavy and and has a good display but...
There is no direct update with my account on computer and I have to use usb cable to update my statistics
You have to turn your hand pretty much to activate the clock when you want to see the time.
When you got new alerts you have to push the button to read it and then it's not possible to discard some of them but you have to clear all
It's not possible to program buttons
It's not possible to control the music on your phone
It's not possible to control your GoPro
You do not get notifications from Facebook and Snap just on Ionic

@MrPrishtina, there is no USB cable capability to sync the Ionic with the computer - it uses Bluetooth only.
Remember, if you are that unhappy with the Ionic you have 45 days to return it if you purchased it directly from Fitbit

Long answer to your post -
I’m not sure what you mean by no direct update with your account on computer but I’m guessing your unable to sync it with your computer. If you have a Windows 10 PC, it is possible to sync via Bluetooth to the Fitbit app. Alternatively, sync with a phone and it will pass the data to your account and you can see that on your computer.
Yes you need to turn your wrist to activate the screen, but if your not looking at you’re watch, do you need it to be on? Also, wrist raising to switch on the screen works pretty well for me.
If you get a new alert, raising your wrist will switch on the screen and display the alert. I’m guessing you might not have the setting correctly adjusted. Swipe left to right on the clock screen, and check Screen Wake is set to Auto and not Manual.
The buttons can be programmed to launch any of the installed apps. You need to move the app icon to the farthest left (top and bottom, to correspond to the buttons). Use the press and hold method to rearrange the icons.
Music on your phone is easily controlled from the Ionic, if you have an active Bluetooth connection. Swipe down from the clock screen to bring up the music controls. (Music does need to be initiated from the phone first though)
No you can’t control your GoPro, but seriously?
You can’t get notifications from any app that sends notifications to your phone. They need to be correctly configured in your account settings page in the Fitbit app.
Hope this helps
