All I need is a new battery and cannot find one! It is definitely dying and I have loved all the programs and stats .

Hello @franciperl Fitbit doesn't sell the batteries or replace them, but there are places that do. You can search using "Fitbit Ionic battery replacement service" and you will find services to replace the battery and videos on how to replace it yourself. Let us know what you do as it might just help another person who loves their Ionic. A friend has the Ionic and even when getting a newer Fitbit, still prefers the Ionic.

Take Odessey's advice and keep that Ionic as long as possible. Unfortunately, my Ionic surrendered and there is no way to repair it. So, I got myself a Fitbit Sense. Well, there shouldn't be something less accurate available, and all the highlighted features - which, by the way, are inaccurate as well - require a monthly $ 10 fee. Plus, if you're doing sports the wrist band must be exchanged on the very first day, or you'll be cursing all day long. After the free trial, I'll get rid of that bs and buy something reliable like Garmin, or Apple. It is nice to have more than 500 floors climbed on a single day, but I am not that kind of cheater, and I want to know what I've done (some 20-40 floors only), not what this Chinese crap tells me. Fitbit once was a very good choice, but now being Google, money is all that counts.
