I have tried downloading the news app upwards of 50 times but it keeps saying “failed to install” there is no way to stop it from installing either so after I restart both the watch and the app it happens all over again.

Best AnswerI have found a solution! It may not be optimal but follow these steps:
-remove the Ionic from your account
-delete the Bluetooth pairing
-press and hold all buttons on the device.
-wait until the Fitbit logo disappears, then release the bottom right button
-wait until you feel a vibration, then release all other buttons
-now set up your device again
- after finishing the set up process try installing the apps.
hope this helps @XVLTX!
Best AnswerThis is happening to me too. My strava and fitbit accounts have stopped syncing, so as a last resort last night i uninstalled Strava but it now won't reinstall! Very frustrating as I now have problems. I've even reset to factory settings and it's made no difference!

Best AnswerPlease don't remove the tracker from your Fitbit account.
It most likely was the two button restart that fixed the issue. For a restart like this, the third button is ignored.
If a user wants to do a setup choose add a device and choose the replace option. There is no need to remove the tracker
