Hello, new to posting. Have ionic on version 27.32.10.20 and having trouble with any app on watch connecting to phone. They install properly but I get the "hmmm open the Fitbit app on your phone and check that bluetooth is on". This error comes from fitbit's own leaderboard app, so it isn't just a 3rd party app support issue. Bluetooth is on and ionic only seems to sync just steps and heart beat. I have done everything from restart to reinstall, remove from BT and even tried completly new installs on different phones and different OS. I have read every topic and search I can think of. If no real solution can come about, I see best buy tradein is $35... Thanks!

Welcome on board @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you around! Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this on your own, nice way to go!
While reading your post I was wondering which is the model of the mobile device you're syncing with? Have you checked if it's included in our list of supported devices?
In the meantime, I'd recommend taking a look at the articles: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?
Hope this helps, keep me posted!
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

hello, I reread the links you gave me and nothing has worked. I have android Oreo and also Windows 10 and the devices are supported as everything was working about a month ago. It seems the shelf life of a Fitbit wearable is short?
