Is there anybody who can say are the Fitbit Ionic problems matter of hardware or of software?
I mean disappearing of sensors information, no working hart rate, no steps counter, battery draining, ets.

It seems to be software related. Unfortunately they are not acknowledging the issues and may not put out an update that will fix the broken Ionics.

I think that it's a combination of hardware and software.
I owned 2 Ionics. They both broke. Defective touchscreen both times.
The bottom line here is whether the problem is hardware or software--there is no fix in sight and FITBIT support seems completely disinterested.
Customer care is not a priority for them.
