Hey guys,

 

Facing a major issue with the battery life of the Ionic after the update. The battery lasts a maximum of 7-8 hours. Tried rebooting but doesn't solve the problem. 

The update was the latest one released to upgrade to firmware 2.1

 

Please advice on how to tackle this issue.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and performing these steps, let me help you out. You're totally right the Ionic battery can last up to 5 days,  I recommend following the charging best practices and also check the tips on this great article.
